Using Advanced Hootsuite Search Settings- Optimize your Twitter search

I began using Hootsuite for my clients a while ago but at the beginning of the month I began utilizing all of Hootsuite’s search settings- keywords, search queries and geocoding. After 4 weeks of monitoring conversations and adjusting settings to find the best search streams, I was very excited to find a few trends that I knew were going to help move our social strategy forward. Dedicating more time to testing searches on Hootsuite, (before I did a lot of jumping back and forth from Hootsuite to Twitter.com) I had to add my personal account and used this for all my conversation monitoring and personal updates. And then I began creating searches for social media work and it hit me that this was the BEST way to search on Twitter!
